The service

Charos.org lets women anonymously signal men who constantly and aggressively flirt with every woman they meet (“charos”). By using the site, you accept these terms.

Your account

• Signaling is reserved for women. When you create your account, you confirm that you are one.
• You sign in with a link sent to your email, and link your own Instagram account. One person, one account: an Instagram account can only be linked once.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. Don't share your sign-in links.

Signaling a man

By signaling a man, you confirm that:

• you had a real, personal experience with him;
• your report is honest and made in good faith;
• the accounts you give are really his.

You can signal a given man only once. Reports are anonymous: your identity is never shown, to him or to anyone else.

How profiles are listed

A man is only listed once several different women have signaled him, and he stops being listed after a set time, as explained on the home page. Listings show only his social account usernames, never a name or a location.

Forbidden

• False, malicious or revenge reports, or reports about someone you don't know personally.
• Harassing, threatening or contacting the men listed because of their listing.
• Creating several accounts, or using someone else's email or Instagram account.
• Scraping the site, or trying to find out who made a report.

We can remove any report or profile, and suspend any account that breaks these rules, without notice.

If you are listed

If you think you are listed by mistake, or want your profile removed, use the removal form. Every request is reviewed, and an approved request hides the profile.

Liability

Listings reflect what users reported, not facts checked by Charos.org. The site is provided as is, and may change or be unavailable at any time. Each user is responsible for her own reports.
